There are 163 million orphans in the world today.
Children having lost one or both parents. Here are two ways to think about it!
1. If the orphans of the world were a country they would be the largest country.
2. Imagine you were to drive on a very long road. If you had these orphans hold hands in a line, you would see over 1,900 orphans per mile. If you were to follow that line of orphans holding hands, driving 60 mph, you could drive 24 hours a day seeing 1,900 orphans ever mile, hour after hour, day after day without stopping for over two months, and you would still see orphans holding hands.
